How to decorate and hang it

Start by laying the ring flat and arranging your largest elements first: pine sprays, magnolia leaves or berry stems. Tuck the stems between the woven twigs rather than tying everything to the surface. The gaps in the vine hold stems well, and the wreath keeps a natural, slightly uneven line.

Work around the ring in one direction so the weight stays even. Add ribbon last, then small ornaments or lights. Keep the finished wreath balanced: if one side feels heavy, add a matching element on the opposite side.

To hang, loop craft wire or a zip tie through the back of the vine and over your hook or nail. The ring is light enough that a standard over the door hook holds it. For outdoor use, place it where it is sheltered from direct rain, such as under a porch roof or behind a storm door.

Care

Keep the wreath dry. Natural rattan vine responds to moisture, so bring it inside during heavy rain or snow and store it in a dry spot at the end of the season. Dust it with a soft brush or a dry cloth. If you decorate with fresh greenery, remove those stems once they dry out so moisture does not sit against the vine.
